 Super Neighborhood 22 :::::  Mission  :::::

Memorial Park/Washington Avenue is a corridor stretching from the northern edge of downtown on the east to Loop 610 on the west. The Washington on Washington Parade (and festival) reflects the history, diversity and community we have become throughout Houston’s development.  Washington Avenue has been an integral part of Houston since the city was founded and its neighborhoods reflect the multiplicity and work that built Houston.  In recognizing this historic street and our community with a parade (and festival), we will provide a celebration to welcome and get to know our neighbors and community.
